Hit the Charlotte ComiCon today, with The Spirit.
[aka Dylan, the boyfriend who was dragged along.]
It was really interesting. Being my first time hitting this con, I didn't know exactly what to expect for it. So I decided "Hell, let's wing it.".
So bring out the Joker make-up and cosplaying gear.

Ha. I had a lot of fun with it, as did Dylan. We both got complimented multiple times, and got asked for a few pictures from a few of the independent underground-ish comic book authors. It was a pretty cool sort of deal.
One of the pictures of myself and Dylan should be posted on gloomyroomies.com at some point; I bought one of the guy's books, and after reading through it a few times, it looks like a pretty interesting storyline. I can see him going pretty far with it.
If you're interested in checking the books out, volume 2 should be out in January. You can either visit gloomyroomies.com and visit the store, or catch Bradd at one of the cons. The cons he's guesting are listed on his site. [Guesting? Is guest even a verb?]
Whatever.

There was another author at the con I checked out and really was interested in- or should I say authors. Their names are Derek and Nikki Davis, and they own Bitter TEA Studios [bitterteastudios.com].
Haha, they appreciated my Joker get-up so much as to give me the Batman sign Derek drew.

And for my deviantART stalkers [as few as there are already...for those of you still following this blog, that is], the lack of updating should be diagnosed very very soon. Since I've got nothing better to do this break anyway [not to mention the fact that the convention...ehm...inspired me to create something that'd beat some of their asses in. Hahaha. We'll see, I suppose.].
